NEWBORNS & BABIES
I love bare skin babies! We really want to show off their cute little bodies and tiny parts rather than clutter the image with baggy clothes. Diaper covers, hats and blankets are all good options for babies.

MATERNITY SESSIONS
Please remember to remove your bra and any other article of clothing that might leave marks on your skin an hour or two before your session. These images can be done fully clothed, completely bare, and often somewhere in between! It really is a matter of your comfort level, but the more skin, the more beautiful! Consider unzipped jeans, black pants that go under your belly, tube tops or tankinis, stretchie lingerie, fitted button down shirts. We want the clothing to be fitted, rather than baggy and distracting.

CHILDREN
Bright and vibrant colors are good, but busy prints can take the focus away from the subject. That said l do love fun and fashionable outfits, too. Just keep in mind that the image will then be just as much about the outfit as it is the child. Dont be afraid to throw in a fun scarf, hooded jacket or hats! Bare feet look more natural and relaxed for all ages. If they are going to wear shoes, watch for dirt and scuff marks that might be distracting. For outside locations, we can slip shoes on and off if you like.

FAMILIES
Groups look best in similar styles or colors, but do not have to match or be exactly the same. Please no patterns, strips or busy things. Solids always look great. Earth tones are my favorites.

Most of my clients choose casual everyday clothes over dressing up in something more formal. If you arent sure, bring out several outfits and we can look through them together! If we are meeting on location, we can always chat before the session!

COMPANY POLICY
A childs mood and cooperation can greatly affect the session and the overall feel of the images. PLEASE make sure your child is well rested and in a good mood. It is always better to reschedule than try to make it through a session with a sick or unhappy child. There is no fee to reschedule.

Our favorite images are the ones when a child is not smiling, but deep in thought or concentrating on what we have given them to play with. Please dont expect a great big smile in every shot we take. We do, however, make every effort to get your child to smile or laugh in at least a few shots.

We do require a signed model release each time you have a session with us. This gives us permission to use the images in our advertising and other promotional materials including our website. We cannot shoot a session if the model release is not signed.

Session fees are non-refundable, but you can always reschedule;
