Our Style

Our Style & Process..

Jemal & Simmone have unique eyes for seeing fashion & beauty. We will always suggest and keep new ideas for your shoot to ensure a totally unique photo session. Keeping things natural is important to ensure comfort of the children and beauty in the images. We take a non-traditional approach to photography and the art of finishing a photo. We will maintain that approach in all of our work. All images are taken digitally in color and can be converted to black and white, sepia etc.

Day of..

Be Prepared! Jemal & Simmone makes sure to take enough time for our shoots, so plan on 1-2 hours for a session (for newborns 2-4 hours). Have outfits planned, and bring them for change. Texture and color is also important, bring bright colors, fun clothing, and unique hats, etc.

Newborns..

If you are expecting and wanting newborn pictures, contact us BEFORE your delivery date, we will schedule your session according to the tentative delivery date. It's ideal to shoot newborns within 2-10 days of birth. We allow for plenty of time for nursing and cuddling so plan on 2-4 hours. Clothes on a newborn look unnatural! Keeping it simple produces that beautiful womb like image.

Proofs..

Proofs will be presented approximately 2-3 weeks after your session in a private
On-line gallery. Proofs will be up for exactly 2 weeks. All orders must be emailed to Jemal within this two week period. There is a reactivation fee of $25.00 for re-opening the gallery for three days after the two week allowance. Once the order is received and paid in full Jemal will send the proofs to print. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery of prints. If an order is not placed within 3 weeks of shoot all proofs will be purged.

Ordering..
You will email Jemal with your order and he will invoice you online through Paypal. You do not need a paypal account to pay with a credit card. Cash and checks are also accepted.

When ordering images keep in mind that the proof may be proportional to a 4x6. When ordering a 5x7 or 8x10 some cropping will occur to the original image. If you are worried that too much cropping will occur, ask Us to see a previewed image before placing the order. To maintain the exact look of a 4x6, an 8x12 is the next proportional size up.

Terms..

Mr. Js Media Productions reserves the rights to all images. All images can be used by Jemal & Simmone Hayes in any way (advertising, site updates, promotional materials). All images are copyrighted and cannot be used or reproduced in any way. All offenders will be prosecuted accordingly. Prices subject to change at any time.
